Some time ago a friend gave us a gift voucher that we’ve used today for visiting a winery.
As you may know, some of the best wines in the whole world are made in Catalonia. The most popular region is Penedès, but we visited a cellar in the region of Bages (more close to our home).
The family has been making wine in those vineyards for centuries, so they have lots of old instruments.
But, of course, today they use the latest technology for making the wine.
This is the press machine (time ago, people pressed the grapes by treading them).
These are the new tubs (wine still rest in wood tubs for months before being botelled).
At the end of the visit we tasted some of their wines (they are not my favs, but they are good enough).
I’ve loved the exteriors of the property’s buildings and the style of the decoration!

Oh, yes we know Catalan wines rock!
I must say I enjoy them much!
Bona nit, Nuresma!
